Cupcakes -- Quality Furry Novellas

Welcome!

"Cupcakes" are short and sweet, standalone novellas that fill that gap between a short story and a novel. In 2009, a trio of furry writers were lamenting the lack of places to publish novellas they'd written. Kyell Gold, foozzzball, and Rikoshi had exchanged their works and helped each other refine them, and while they could post the stories online, they felt they wanted something more.

Enter Fuzzwolf, head of FurPlanet publishing. In discussions with some of the aforementioned writers, Fuzz mentioned that he had been looking for short standalone works to publish. A few more discussions ensued, and a partnership was born.

Rather than publishing the stories simply through FurPlanet, the triumvirate decided it would be worth creating a brand to go along with the short works, something that would let people know that they could expect a consistent level of quality from all the associated stories. All three naturally want their own stories to be showcased, but all three also believe in furry fiction as a genre and want to promote quality furry fiction, largely by writing it and by pointing others to their favorite works.

And so our Cupcakes were born. Check out the Products page for a listing of the books available, and keep an eye on the front page for the latest news. And thanks for reading!
